As you maybe know, France is not only the country of red wine, champagne and beautfiful wives… We also build some cars. You don’t believe me ? Then, watch the new Citroën DS3, the last concept car of one of the three most famous french car company. Inspired by the lovely Mini, this car is the perfect mix between past and future. I’m totally in love with it’s front shape. Look at this futuristic LED lights and it’s bicolour design… A true delight for the eyes.

I twit on facebook with my iPhone

Hey doctor I have a strange disease ! No I am not contaminated by the H1N1 virus… I just feel like I’m a social media addict ! So, when I heard this morning that it was possible to twit on facebook, I can’t wait anymore to try it. Yes it true, you only have to install the Twitter app on your facebook page and then when you post a message on Twitter instantly it is updating your Facebook status. Totally crazy, isn’t it ?

The test : After installing Twitter’s plugin on my Facebook page, I posted a test twitt with Twitterfon with my iPhone. Instantly my Facebook status was updated as you can see on the screenshot above. Easy and reliable, like this you can send any message simultaneously to your Twitter followers and your Facebook friends. Isn’t geek life beautiful ?

Nice T shirt by La Fraise

Today the sky is very cloudy over Paris, but as I’m a shopping addict I decided to give a gift to myself (in France we use to say that you never so well served as by yourself) : a nice T shirt bought on the online shop Lafraise.com. In order to match my wardrobe with the color of the parisian sky, I chose the grey Business shirt created by he prolific designer Nesk (surely one of the most creative designer on La fraise). Now I’m expecting the postman to deliver quickly my beautiful shirt… I hope that the sun will be back over Paris by then (Yes I’m a dreamer).

Philips Slim shell for iPhone

To protect my (very) precious iPhone (you know that the worst nightmare for a geek is to brake the screen of it wonderful iphone), I was looking for a slim and powerful protection. Then, after a long moment of deep thinking I decided to invest into the Philips slim shell. Why did I make this choice ?

First, because this shell is transparent and unobtrusive. Very important criteria for me because I don’t want to cover up my wonderful glossy white iPhone 3Gs with an unsightly protection cover. Second point, this hard shell gives a real good shock protection. As you know, the weakness of the iPhone is the backside of the phone, so it’s very important to protect it.

To complete the protection of your precious iphone, this package includes a screen shield. In this way you’ll avoid any scratches on your tactile screen. You have to notice that it is quite easy to install this screen shield on your iphone. The only important point is to perfectly clean up the screen with an antistatic cloth before doing anything else.

Conclusion : I bought the Philips Slim shell for iPhone about 22 euros and I think this is a real good investment to give a serious protection to my precious without altering it’s beautiful design.

Compare 2 text files with Word

Well you know, it’s very usefull to have strong skills on softwares like Word. Yesterday, I was working on Watsupmanu (And so what ?). Then, I have struggling with a Wordpress plugin that was breaking all the design of my blog. I quickly understood that the plugin was modifying the HTML code of my pages… But what did it changed… And where ?

Then, Bill Gates Word comes up to save my blogger’s life ! I just copy both versions (before and after activating the Plugin) of my webpages in Word.

What the hell is it possible ? Yes it is, and I’m going to tell you how to compare 2 text files with Word :

1. Open the first file.
2. Click on Tools / Compare and merge Documents
3. Now select the file to compare
4. Click on the small arrow on the right side of the sur la petite flèche à droite du bouton Fusionner and select Merge into new document from the list (in order to avoid to modify your original document)
5. That’s it ! All changes are now underlined in red and all deleted informations are also specified. Nice, isn’t it ?

Well, if you really enjoy the theme of Watsupmanu (That great, I like it so much too) I have to confess that I’m not the author of it. Then the design of this blog is based on the famous (but still not seen everywhere) Wordpress theme Zinepress created by the webdesigner Andrew Lindstrom. I must admit that I have made lots of updates of the basic theme and now you are in front of a totally customised theme… But don’t ask me what I have modified… This is my secret. Now, don’t spend to much time talking about the blog design, let’s write some interesting posts…

On any blog there is a first post, but this one is no really the first. Why ? Because I ever launched Watsupmanu few years ago, but after a crash disk I lose all datas… I was so upset that I dediced to stop blogging on this site. Then, time has made his work and now I’m ready to put again Watsupmanu under the lights of the internet scene. After 3 years of (very) intense blogging on specialized theme blogs, I’m really to get back to first love. Well, I have to admit that this is real emotion for me to relaunch Watsupmanu.com… Then the Phoenix is rising from the ashes.
